Setting the default browser using Windows.
In the Windows operating system, there is a kind of editor that allows you to change the default programs to open specific files or performing certain tasks. This editor, in my opinion, is far from ideal, but it is suitable for setting the default browser.
So what needs to be done. In the "Start" menu, select the "Control Panel" item and, in the window that opens, double-click on the "Add or Remove Programs" icon. Next, go to the "Select default programs" tab, check the "Other" item and select the required browser from the list. To save the changes, click "OK" at the bottom of the window.

There are several more ways to set a particular browser by default for opening Internet pages, including using an additional software, for example using free utility Default Browser. I don’t see the point in describing these methods, since to produce all necessary settings can standard means, and quite simply and quickly.

It is worth noting that links in applications developed by Microsoft, regardless of the default Internet browser, will open in Internet Explorer. Of course, this is unfair competition, but nothing can be done.
