Integration with PhonerLite- if you put a tick in this field, then calls can be received through a special program. The operator installs the PhonerLite program on his computer. When you click on a phone number in the administrative panel, a call to the client starts.

Url for alerts- Call alerts will be sent to this address. You must specify it in the settings in your Zadarma account (Settings -> APIs and integrations -> PBX call notifications -> "Your resource link" field)

Back call

Callback is a functionality that is already included in your Zadarma virtual PBX, the callback settings are located in the same place as telephony, menu item " Settings - IP Telephony" (see Fig. 10).

I only work with Zadarma for a few hours, but still I got enough impressions for a review: 1) They write that they need to take a picture with a passport and that they find fault with the quality of the photo - There was nothing like that. No more gestures 2) In the morning, I involuntarily checked the quality of communication with Latvia - good (I was going to check the quality of communication with Estonia, not Latvia, but it just happened). I communicate with RUWEB - I constantly buy hosting from them and sometimes I have questions for them. They have excellent tech support. But still the reaction time is noticeably more than 1 minute. 4) And finally, in my case, the cost of all these services is close to zero!! - with their help I get on my cell phone in Tallinn and from Estonia they can call me on it. I have not analyzed other options for their services and will not respond. 5) Some said that Zadarma did not return the money to them. They IMMEDIATELY returned it to me, and I did not ask them about it.

We have been using PBX for more than a year in a travel agency with three branches in different cities, plus a connection with Bitrix 24. The quality has never failed, the functionality is sufficient, plus a huge selection of numbers, up to UFA golden numbers (which we use). The only thing that may be missing is a multi-level voice menu to switch not just with the numbers 1,2,3, but also continue to lead customers, dividing one number into branches and then into employees.

BE CAREFUL WHEN WORKING WITH ZADARMA!!! BLOCK THE ACCOUNT AND PREVIOUSLY PAID SERVICES WITHOUT EXPLANATION OF REASONS!!! I have been using the services of IP Telecom Bulgaria LTD (project zadarma.com), in total, since 2010 to receive calls from relatives from Ukraine. Moreover, I brought at least 6 clients to the company, who still use their services. On 10/31/16, I registered an account 565223 to work in Ukraine and Russia. I provided my passport details and registered phone numbers. No illegal activity was carried out on these phones, however, on December 23, 2018, my account was blocked without explanation and since then I cannot use the previously paid services: 1. I cannot call the purchased numbers; 2. I can't call from my account - because I can't top up my account; 3. One of these days one of my numbers will be removed from the list - I cannot renew it. Communication with the support service for 5 days did not bring any results. Be careful with this organization!!!

Virtual SIP numbers and calls

One of the main products of Zadarma is virtual numbers. You can choose one or more numbers from 70 countries around the world. After activating the number, the client receives a login and password for connecting via SIP and can use it using any device or software for working with telephony via SIP, including a virtual or hardware IP PBX. In addition, it is possible to forward all incoming calls to another number or to the IP address of your PBX. For most countries of the world, numbers are provided without a connection fee, but with a subscription fee.

Also you can buy number with code 800 for almost all countries in which it is possible to buy a regular number.

In addition, any Zadarma client can be called using the general dial-up number + the internal six-digit phone number corresponding to the SIP account. This service is available in 25 countries around the world.

Now about the cost of the calls themselves. I took one of the European VoIP operators Freecall for comparison, although of course it is better to compare identical products, and Freecall does not even have city numbers, not to mention a virtual PBX. And even despite this, Zadarma wins in the cost of calls.

Cloud PBX

Virtual cloud PBX from Zadarma is completely free, there is a small limit on the balance of money on the balance and on the number of internal numbers. All calls between virtual PBX subscribers are free and unlimited in number and duration.

First you need to link your SIP account to the PBX, to which several phone numbers. In addition, the virtual PBX has a very interesting feature - external line binding via SIP, it is called “Extra external line”. In this case, your PBX can act as a server or a SIP client. The service is free for limited use, but it is possible to expand its capabilities for an additional fee.

In a virtual PBX, you can create up to 50 internal numbers. For each of them, it is possible to change the display name (Caller ID), set up Caller ID for calls during external world, set up call recording, call forwarding and select the codecs to use.

Incoming call settings offers you to select a voice greeting, waiting melody, business hours and behavior of the PBX during non-working hours, as well as set up a script for incoming calls. In general, the usual functionality of a virtual PBX. Here you can set up a small call center simply by adding internal numbers of call center employees to the “Start” scenario.

In the settings for outgoing calls, you can allow or prohibit internal numbers from accessing the outside world, set exit codes for the country and abroad, and also define Caller ID depending on the city or country where the call is made.

Widgets for calling from the site

Zadarma offers its clients two widgets for placement on the site for free: call back widget and call me widget for a free call directly from the browser. This may be of interest to online stores, support services, etc.

Callback request widget is a round button with the image of a handset, when clicked, a form for entering the client's phone number opens.

Zadarma provides quite a lot of settings for this widget. On the “Basic settings” tab, it is possible to set the widget’s working time, outside of which the site visitor will be notified about this and he will be asked to call at the time he has chosen. In addition, you can create an event for Google Analytics to track widget usage statistics.

In the criteria settings, you can specify to the system after which user actions the widget will appear.

You can customize the color of the button, its position relative to the edges of the page, as well as the text and title of the widget.

How to set up a virtual PBX? Basic settings

In this section, we will consider the minimum necessary for the operation of the PBX, then all functions will be described.

How to create a free PBX: On home page in the "Free PBX" section, click the "Create PBX" button. You will be taken to the “Setup Wizard” of the PBX:

Step 1 Extension numbers

You can create a three-digit extension number for each user of the PBX and set up a separate program, IP phone, forwarding, etc. on it. Usually create 1 number for each employee, but you can create 2-3 numbers (for example, for a call program and a desk phone).

Specify the number of employees or devices that will be connected to the PBX, check the box “enable call recording for everyone” (if necessary) and click the “Next” button.


It is not necessary to create numbers "with a margin", you can always increase their number in the future.

Please note: call recording for three internal lines is provided free of charge (there are more in office and corporation packages).

Step 2 Incoming calls

This section configures the parameters according to which incoming calls will be received:

  • Directly to internal numbers of employees;
  • First, to the voice greeting "Hello, you called ..", and then to employees;
  • On the voice menu "To contact the manager, press ..." - you must specify the number of menu items (from 1 to 10).

In the second and third options, you can enter a greeting text that will be read by the robot or upload your own audio file.


Sizes of audio files for downloading - up to 5 MB, acceptable formats - MP3, WAV.

WAV format: Bit rate = 8 bits, sample rate = 16 kHz.

MP3 format: Bit rate = 64 kbps, sample rate = 16 kHz.

This is the maximum sound quality that the telephone network can transmit.

You can convert an audio file using the appropriate programs or online services.

Select the option you need and click the "Next" button.

Step 2.1 Voice menu

If you chose the third option (voice menu) in the previous step, the Settings Wizard will automatically create the number of menu items (scripts) specified by you, as well as the main script “without pressing” - it will receive calls if the caller during the playback of the voice greeting will not press any button.

In the options “Directly to internal numbers of employees” and “First to a voice greeting, and then to employees”, only the scenario “without pressing” will be created.

Also, all previously created internal numbers will be added to this scenario (to the “First call” block). If necessary, you can change the order of internal numbers, for example, remove the number from the “First to call” block and add it to the “Second to call”.


Step 3 Downloading and setting up programs on your computer and phone

To receive and make calls, you can use any software or equipment that operates over the SIP protocol. You can see examples of setting up some popular equipment and software in the "Support" - "Setup Instructions" section. We recommend using our proprietary Zadarma application for Windows, iOS, Android.

Step 4 Connecting a virtual number

You have set up the equipment and can already make calls. To receive incoming calls from customers, you need to connect a virtual phone number to the PBX. You can select one or more virtual numbers in 100 countries in the "Settings" section - .

This completes the minimum setup for the PBX to work. You can start using the PBX permanently or set up additional functions.

Functions for daily work with PBX:

Transfer and intercept a call

To transfer a customer to another extension, press #, then the extension number of the subscriber and again #, for example, #101#.

To transfer a call with voice notification, press * extension number and #, for example, *101#. In this case, you will first connect to the dialed extension number yourself and will be able to tell him who and on what issue you are transferring. After one of you ends the call, the client will be connected to the other.

If the dialed extension number does not answer the call within 25 seconds, the customer will return to you.

To intercept an incoming call, if your extension number is not added to the incoming call processing script, dial the combination 40 and press the call button.

To transfer a call to a script (department): dial the script number in the voice menu, for example #1#

Dialing format

The dialing format for calls and forwarding is set in the section; by default, numbers are dialed in the local format (for example, Moscow number in the format 8495...). You can also disable the "Call without country code" feature in the "My profile" section and dial the number in the international format (country code, city code, number, without 8 or 0 in front of the number).

Fax

Automatic Fax is available at extension 50. Fax is currently receiving only. By default, received faxes are sent to the registered email address. You can change the email address for receiving faxes in .

Additional functions and features of PBX (benefits of virtual PBX)

1. Call recording ▾

You can enable call recording on one or more PBX extensions. Recordings are sent by mail or stored in the cloud (on our server).

Free of charge, you can record conversations on three internal numbers (in tariff plans“Office” on 8 numbers, and “Corporation” tariff plans on 20 numbers). The cost of recording on each subsequent internal number is €1 per month.

Free size cloud storage- 200 megabytes for the "Standard" tariff, 2000 megabytes for the "Office" tariff package and 5000 megabytes for the "Corporation" tariff package (5000 megabytes of the cloud - more than 250 hours of calls).

Recordings saved to the cloud can be listened to in the "My PBX" section - or uploaded using the API. After disabling call recording, the recordings are deleted from the cloud after 180 days.

At the moment, official and completely free integrations with Bitrix24, Zoho CRM, AmoCRM, Salesforce, Megaplan, RetailCRM, ZohoDESK, PlanFix, WireCRM, RemOnline are available.

4.1 Forwarding incoming calls

Forwarding - directing a call to another mobile or landline phone number. Forwarding is required in order to receive a call without additional program or equipment and without an internet connection.

To make sure you never miss a call, you can set up conditional call forwarding to your mobile or landline number.

To enable call forwarding on the "My PBX" page - on the left in the settings of the desired extension in the "Forwarding and voicemail" field, select the "No answer, unavailable" forwarding option to enable conditional forwarding or the "Always" option to enable unconditional.

In the first case, the call will first come through the Internet to the program or equipment you configured, and if it is turned off or there is no answer within 20 seconds, the call will be forwarded.

When unconditional forwarding is enabled, the call will be immediately directed to the forwarding number, regardless of the presence of an active program/hardware.

In the "Phone" field, specify the call forwarding number in accordance with the dialing prefixes (if they are set in the "My PBX" - section) without a plus sign and check the "Phone" box to save the settings. If the "Call without country code" feature is enabled, enter the number in the local format.


If no prefixes are specified, the number must be specified in the international format: [country code][city/operator code][number], for example, 74951270777.

Also in the “Settings” section of your personal account - you can enable the "Call without country code" function, in this case the number must be specified in the local format, for example, 84951270777.

Forwarding prices are fully consistent with our tariffs for outgoing calls.

4.2 Forward notification.

To understand when you receive an incoming call that this is a forwarded call and not a direct call to your mobile, you can set up an appropriate notification. It will be played when answering the call before connecting with the caller.

The standard alert is a single tone, similar to the start of a voicemail recording. It is possible to set your own notification (for example, “Call for the sale of boilers”).

4.3 Setting your CallerID when forwarding

The option "Set your CallerID when forwarding" is responsible for what number you will see when you receive a forwarded call. If you enable it, you will see the CallerID of this extension on which you set up call forwarding, and if you disable it, you will be sent the number of the caller.

You can use different CallerIDs when calling from different devices, or when calling to different destinations (countries or cities).

To enable CallerID in the direction on the page "My PBX" - on the right, click "Add number identification rule". Enter the code of the country and/or city to which you are calling (for example, 7 for Russia, 44 for the UK, etc.), select the desired CallerID and click the "Create" button.

6. Additional external line ▾

You can connect one number from a third-party provider to Zadarma virtual PBX on the page "My PBX" -.

If you have a regular landline number connected via a copper line, you need to use a VoIP gateway with an FXO port, enable the external line on the site in the "Gateway" mode and specify the settings from the site in the gateway. If your number supports the SIP protocol, it is enough to turn on the line in the "Server" mode and set the number settings.

Your provider must provide connection data: server, domain (may be the same as the server), login, password.

7. PBX statistics ▾

You can find detailed statistics of calls to PBX in the section My PBX -. Here you can select the period of statistics, compare different periods, see the general graph and geography of calls. Statistics and graphs are available both for all calls and for calls to different virtual numbers (or external lines).
