Alignment in the middle of html. Vertical alignment of icons or emoticons in text. The vertical alignment of text in a document.

Html there is a universal parameter and it is called ALIGN. It can be used with various html tags:

p | h1 | div | table | thead | body | foot | tr | th | td

Possible values:

Center- center alignment
Left- left alignment
Right- on the right
justify- in width, on the left and right edges. In this case, there may be large gaps between words.

Drifting elements can drift left or right. This means we can specify which page aligns to the left or right. So far we have used the remaining value. Let's see what happens when we change the alignment to the right.

The elements were actually aligned right and left to left, but the blue element turned into a place with an orange element. Let's enter the code that we would have to write to achieve what is shown above. The blue element of our code has been kept at the top of all three block elements, i.e. it will be interpreted by the web browser as the first one. The orange element is the second element, meaning it will be glued to the blue element if it is.

Text justified

Appearance in browser:

Title is center aligned

The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified. The text is justified.

There wasn't enough room for the yellow element, meaning it would appear on the next right-aligned line. Let's say we want to create a layout where we have one long shape on the left side, and next to it there are two elements that are below each other.

Let's say we would like to get this layout now using only one float. Well, maybe it's a little strange, but basically what has just been written seems quite logical. There is half the width of the orange and yellow elements. If we carefully analyze the case, it turns out that the orange and yellow elements are covered by the blue element.

The content of this block is right-aligned

Note that left alignment is done automatically. Therefore, there is no need to specify such a value for the align parameter.

The typed text is automatically aligned “to the left”, which does not look very nice and is used, as a rule, only when working with individual text fragments (in tables, lists).

How to get such layout? Let's move on, we will find out the answer to this question. To create a website, we must approach how to create structures from modules, blocks and blocks. First we must divide this page in our head, on paper or in graphics program for each section.

Let's look at an example of a simple page with a header, where we usually place the logo and menu. Then a side menu will appear on the left side, the container for this menu will be called, for example, side. At the bottom of the page we will add footer, the footer will be in English.

To give the work a finished look, apply various ways formatting typed text:

  • align the main text “widthwise” (so that it occupies the entire width of the page from the left margin to the right margin, and does not “hang” on the right in “shreds”);
  • headings are aligned “centered” or “left” and highlighted in a different font, etc.

The body text is usually justified.

Such a simple construction of the real world. We can say that in this way we have prepared the skeleton of the layout, which if we want so that we can start filling in the content. In addition to having this prepared layout, we won't have to worry about whether elements inserted in a content element will overlap in other sections.

Unfortunately, to master the art of float masonry, you have to practice a lot, because this is what usually causes the most trouble when understood correctly. This time a long lesson, but we covered a large area. See you in the next lesson.

To do this, the typed text must be selected by clicking on the line of the operational menu with the left mouse button of the “Edit” command "Select all":

Then, also using the left key, go to the "Format" section "Paragraph":

In the item "Alignment", using the drop-down list, select the option, "By Width":

In all scientific, technical, engineering or economic research, it is necessary to include equations in the content of the work, and very often many equations are an integral part of the work. Extended text editors allow you to prepare and place in the text an object that may look like this.

Here we can set the "Line" spacing. In the works, depending on the requirements of the university, "Single" or "One and a half" can be used:

In order for each paragraph to begin with a red line, select the "Indent" option in the "First line" item. In the window on the right should be "On 1, 25 cm" this is the standard value:

Editing an equation in the selected location is a separate software module and created an equation in this independent module. A module effect is the "equation" of an object in the parent document. Double click on the equation callback equation and make the necessary corrections. Without going into theoretical aspects, the equation can only be changed by the editor that was previously created. If more old version document has been converted to new version, then the old equation can only be edited using the equation, and the new one can be built using both old and new methods.

After completing all the operations, do not forget to confirm them by clicking the left mouse button on the OK button.
