Description

If your plan includes 300 minutes and you used only 200 of them in a month, you will get 100 (remaining) + 300 (new package) = 400 minutes for the next month.

Unused SMS and GB of Internet are transferred in the same way. Moreover, in the new month, packages that have passed from the previous period will be written off first, and then only the current ones will be printed.

It will not work to save on a subscription fee and stretch one set for two months - the transfer of the unused is carried out only after the payment for the coming month is deducted if there is enough money in the account. Also, the transfer of the rest of the tele2 packages will not be endless - it only applies to the previous period, and then it burns out.

If out of 300 minutes (sms or GB) you used 100, and in the next period of the remaining 200 again only 100, the last 100 minutes will not be transferred to the third month.

Transferring the rest of the tele2 traffic allows you not to lose what you paid for, using your phone more flexibly. By saving packages in one billing period, in another you will be able to spend more time in communication - and not pay for it in excess of the usual rate.

Restrictions

The offer is only for active tariff plans. If you use one of the "Black" tariffs, which is already in the archive and is not available for new connections, the service is not available to you.

When connecting to another tariff plan (even if they both belong to the "Black"), unused packages will not be transferred in the current period.

There are also some regional restrictions. Unused gigabytes of additional packages in Moscow, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Volgograd, Voronezh and Saratov regions are not transferred.

I never understood the obviously inflated activity around this tariff (which was such). It is wretched, expensive and clearly disproportionately tailored. Yes, and anlim there is only relative. For schoolchildren, the subscription fee is too high. For older people - too few minutes. Internet anlim - only for a smartphone, where it is overwhelmingly simply not needed.

However, the new “-Smart--Unlimited” has also become a hoax, because now there is no Internet unlimited in it at all in any form: stupidly 10 GB per month. Anlim remains only when calling to MTS numbers after the total package of minutes has been exhausted, which we also have on other package tariffs of the operator. Figures for Moscow:

• Subscription fee - 550 rubles. per month (now charged in full per month and without discounts)
• 350 minutes to all networks in Russia (was - 200 to numbers only in your region and MTS Russia)

The new version of the tariff has been completely redesigned and, in fact, is a degraded version of Smart Nonstop. Which is also closed for connections and sent to the archive. Instead of Internet unlimited, they give a 10 GB traffic package and introduce the transfer of unused packages to the next month.

"Unlimited" was going to be slammed on the first of March, so nothing unexpected happened to you and me. Why postponed? It's hard to say, but now it doesn't matter, it's done. Intrigued by the title. In fact, there is nothing unlimited in the tariff, and the name is now misleading. Apparently, "Unlimited" has become such a well-promoted brand that they risked leaving the name. How will they justify themselves if there are those who want to find fault? And there will be those who wish, PPI (“Public Consumer Initiative”) is closely monitoring the wording. It is possible that MTS considered it legitimate to keep the name due to the transfer of the rest of the packages to the next month.

Thus, from the public tariffs available for connection with Internet anlim, Smart +, Smart Top and Transformische remained in MTS. But "Transformische" is a special case, it is only for new connections and is not sold in salons, only through an order in an online store.

Tariff Anatomy

As I already wrote, it makes no sense to compare the new tariff with the previous “Unlimited”, this is an animal of a completely different breed. Much more similar to the archived Smart Nonstop. The main parameters of the new "Unlimited":

• Subscription fee 550 rubles. per month. As far as I understand, the daily debit was abandoned and switched to a monthly scheme. Also, when switching to the new “Unlimited”, they will immediately write off 550 rubles. no benefits for the first month.
• The package includes 350 minutes, 350 SMS and 10 GB of traffic per month. Unlike Smart Nonstop, there is no night unlimited.
• Unused minutes, SMS and traffic are transferred to the next month, this can be considered the main feature of the new tariff. But Internet traffic is transferred cunningly, more on that below.
• When leaving the home region and using the tariff, 15 rubles are charged daily. This "intranet roaming tax" is not charged on Smart+ tariffs and above.
• After the Internet package is exhausted, additional packages of 1 GB for 150 rubles are automatically connected. every.
• The SMS package is valid only for messages within the home region. In Russia and other countries - for a fee.
• When calling from the MTS Connect application, the number of minutes in the package is formally doubled, but also not without an interesting “feature”.

The tariff does not look too attractive, but do not forget about the transfer of packages to the next month. This is an important plus and noticeable savings with uneven consumption. Probably, we should say thanks to Tele2 for the return of this long-abandoned scheme.

How the transfer works

The contents of the packages are transferred only for one (next) month, it will not work to save "products" for three or more months. The maximum that will be transferred is the full volume of one “food set”. But still savings. Especially for those who consume minutes unevenly and periodically jump out of the package.

It would be surprising if MTS simply copied the Tele2 scheme, in which minutes, SMS and traffic transferred from the previous month are spent first. As far as I understand, the transferred minutes and SMS in the MTS tariff are really spent first of all or are simply added up with new packages. But in the scheme with the transfer of Internet traffic, MTS discovered a “little trick”. The transferred traffic is not consumed in the first place, but only after the current packet is completely used up. For example, if in March you have 4 GB of traffic left unused, then they will be transferred to April and 14 GB in April can be spent without surcharges. But if in April you spend 11 GB out of these 14, then nothing will be transferred to May, the rest of 3 GB is considered to be March. Accordingly, if 9 of these total 14 GB are spent in April, then 1 GB will be transferred to May. Brilliantly thought up, if only the inventor of the scheme were paid a salary in MTS Bank according to the same principle!

With the "doubling" of the package of minutes when calling from the MTS Connect application, it was also interestingly invented, I described this scheme in the review. The trick is that the main package of minutes is always consumed first. Including when making calls from the application. And only when the main package is over, we get the second one, which can be spent exclusively on calls from the MTS Connect application. Regular calls (except calls to MTS) will be charged separately. Formally, it can be considered a “doubling” of the package of minutes, but in fact - you yourself understand. But still, the MTS Connect application is a useful thing, especially in international roaming.

How and with what to compare

It is clear that it is useless to compare the new "Unlimited" with the old one, these are fundamentally different tariffs. I inherited the name, but this is marketing in its purest form, and Mobile-Review is not a “dissernet”, we don’t need to compare letters. But the similarity with the Smart Nonstop sent to the archive is simply striking, and we can compare it with it. No, I would not call the tariff "New Nonstop" to facilitate perception ...

As for calls to all Russian numbers from the package in the new “Unlimited”, I have certain doubts. It will be necessary to carefully study the pdf description when it appears on the MTS website. 5 rubles per minute look more logical.

Summary

The new "Unlimited" is now suitable for those who do not have enough Internet traffic on the Smart tariff. Although I don’t know yet how Smart will be modified now, let’s not guess. In any case, I would not recommend switching to the new "Unlimited" from the already archived Nonstop. From the old (now old) "Unlimited" - maybe. If 10 GB of traffic is enough, and minutes - on the contrary, 200 per month is not enough. And with uneven consumption, to enjoy the benefits of transferring packages to the next month.

The tariff with its appearance indicates two important news:

1. Refusal of MTS from relatively inexpensive (if 500-600 rubles are considered inexpensive) tariffs with unlimited internet, even only "stripped down" night.
2. The appearance in the tariffs of the scheme for transferring the unused part of the packages to the next month. Let's hope to continue in other tariffs.

Several important clarifications that appeared after the publication of the tariff description on the site.

Intensity of service consumption mobile communications subscribers is not always uniform. This may be due to family circumstances, work and travel abroad. As a result, unspent minutes and Internet accumulate on the user's account. The new tariffs allow you to transfer the rest of the traffic and minutes to the next month. Thus, subscribers can use the operator's services more actively in the future without additional costs.

Saving minutes and gigabytes for the next month is a convenient and fair service, but there are some tricks here. According to the terms of the operator, the number of transferred minutes of conversation cannot exceed the number of the main package. How it looks in practice:

• the number of minutes according to the tariff in the current month is 350 minutes;
• the subscriber still has 250 unused minutes from the previous period;
• taking into account the transfer of balances, in the current month, the user will have access to 600 minutes of conversation (250 + 350);
• for the current period, the subscriber spent only 50 minutes, according to the logic, there should be a transfer to the next month in the amount of 550 minutes;
• however, the operator will add only 350 additional minutes to the tariff plan, since 550 minutes exceed the conditions of the main package;
• next month the subscriber will have access to 700 minutes (350 + 350).

Implementation of the rest of the Internet

The saving of gigabytes for the next month occurs in the same manner as the transfer of minutes in the MTS network. The amount of traffic cannot exceed the conditions of the main package, the accumulated MB are not summed up. Therefore, at the beginning, the subscriber consumes the saved traffic from the previous period, then the main quota is connected. Unspent MB from the previous month that were not spent in the current month are not transferred to the next.

Saving traffic and gigabytes is a good example:

• the user is offered 10 GB per month under the terms of the tariff plan;
• from the previous period, the subscriber has 9 unused GB that flow into the current period. At the same time, traffic is divided into new and old MB;
• the “old” 9 GB go first;
• if the user spent only 2 GB from the “old reserves”, and the new 10 remained unchanged, then 10 GB will be credited for the next month according to the tariff plan and 10 GB for the balance of the last month (10, not 17, as it turns out arithmetically).

Important: new service carryover of balances to the next month is automatic. The user does not need to perform any automatic actions, the summation of minutes and megabytes is carried out by the operator.

What tariffs provide for the transfer of minutes and traffic?

A popular plan is Smart Unlimited. As part of its use, the user is presented with 5 GB of Internet, 500 free minutes and SMS to the numbers of the selected region.

Tariff "Smart +" - the subscription fee will be from 175 rubles per week. The user is given 350 minutes to talk with subscribers in his region. Intercity is not included in free services. The user in the MTS Smart tariff also has 350 SMS messages and 7 GB of traffic.

"Smart Top" - the terms of the tariff have not changed, except for saving minutes for the future period. The monthly fee is 1600 rubles. This amount includes 3000 minutes to all numbers in Russia, without restrictions on regions. The user also receives 3000 free messages and 15 GB of traffic.

"ULTRA" - a tariff plan that provides for the preservation of traffic for the next period. The monthly fee will be 2,700 rubles. The subscriber is provided with 5000 minutes available to all operators in the country. Unlimited communication with MTS subscribers is provided. The tariff includes 5000 SMS messages and 20 GB of traffic.
